The Promise of a King
Jesus is the King
- Prophesied as King before His birth.
- Declared King at His birth.
- Annointed King at His baptism.
- Recognized as King by His disciples and His enemies.
- Rode into Jerusalem as a King.
- Claimed to be King during His trial.
- Sacrificied Himself as King in His death.
- Demonstrated His Kingship in His resurrection.
- Ascended and sits enthroned as King today.
- One day every knee will bow to Him as King.
- One day He will judge the world as the King of Kings and the Lord of Lord.
How will I respond to King Jesus?
- Some will oppose Him - Matthew 2:3, 16
- Some will dismiss Him - Matthew 2:4-5
- Some will bow to Him - Matthew 2:10-11
