Our desire is to use the facility that God has provided in a way that is honoring to Him, and consistent with His character. We recognize that we are stewards of these facilities that God has provided, and we desire to make every effort to take care of them.

Facility Reservations

All requests for facility reservations must be made known to the elder over properties. The board of elders has the final authority over facility usage.

General Policies for Use of the Facility

  1. Smoking is not permitted within the building.

  2. No alcohol is permitted on the premises.

  3. Your party is responsible for the clean-up of any areas of the facility that you use. These areas need to be restored to how they were found upon arrival.

  4. Any use of the multimedia equipment in the sanctuary requires a member of the RFBC tech team.

  5. Non-member events must have a sponsoring active adult church member present at all times.

  6. All minor children (under 16) must be supervised by an adult.

  7. Language should be positive and free from profanity.

  8. Dress should be modest, unrevealing, and free from unwholesome logos or slogans.

  9. You are only permitted to use the areas of the facility that you have been approved for.

  10. All classrooms, including the nursery, are off-limits without prior arrangements.

Special Policies for Weddings

We believe it is our responsibility to help people form Christ-centered marriages, not to simply perform wedding ceremonies. For this reason, our wedding policy has additional requirements.

  1. Any couple wishing to use this facility for marriage must profess faith in the death, burial and resurrection of Christ for salvation.

  2. Any couple wishing to use First Baptist for a wedding ceremony must undergo marriage counseling approved by the elders.

  3. The couple and the officiant must agree to the Statement of Faith of the church.

  4. All parts of the service are to be consistent with the present worship practices of the church.

Life Center Policies

  1. Please do not adjust the temperature in the Life Center.

  2. Furniture should not be moved into the Life Center without approval.

  3. There is no climbing or hanging on the nets or rims.

  4. Please clean up the area before leaving. It is not the responsibility of the janitor to clean the Life Center.

  5. No food or drinks are permitted in the Life Center without prior approval.

Usage Fees for Inactive / Non-Members

Sanctuary - $200
Sound System / Multimedia in the Sanctuary (if available) – $30 / hour paid directly to the technician Kitchen / Fellowship Hall - $150
Life Center $1,500


General Liability

  1. RFBC does not assume responsibility for any lost or stolen items.

  2. Use of the facilities will be at the risk of the participant. RFBC does not assume liability for any injury to the user of the facilities.

  3. Damage to the church property may be the responsibility of the group or individual using the facility. Each incident will be reviewed, and responsibility determined by the board of elders. By using the facilities, you are agreeing to assume responsibility for broken or damaged items.
