MEN'S MINISTRY

2021 Trip
October 21st-23rd

For the past five years, we have sought to build the relationships among men within the church body both here in Robbinsville and beyond.

The men’s ministry camping trip is a three-day adventure across Fontana Lake into the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. There is no cell phone service, no access to cars, or any connection to society. This setting provides us with a unique opportunity to spend time with God and engage with one another without the distractions that often come in day-to-day life.

Each morning begins with a big breakfast, followed by personal devotion time with God, and then moves into a small group discussion. The afternoon offers the opportunity to explore God’s creation by hiking trails throughout the Hazel Creek area while others spend some quality time fly fishing. Each night we tell stories about our day and typically eat more than we can handle.

It is our prayer that each man is inspired in his walk with Christ and his role both as a husband and father. There have been men from Indiana, Missouri, Texas, and right here in Graham County. If you are up for the adventure this fall, please contact Rance Shuler and put your name on the list.
