Do you know someone who lives in rebellion against God?
- In Luke 15:1-3
- Jesus ate with people who lived in sinful rebellion against God and He told them parables.
- In Luke 15:11-12
- What did the son ask for? To go his own way.
- How did the father respond? The father gave him over to go his own way.
Romans 1:18-23 describes a people who choose to go their own way. This is false worship.
God gives them over to:
- Defile themselves inwardly (1:24-25)
- Defile others openly (1:26-27)
- Destroy themselves eternally (1:28-32)
God gave His Son to:
- Demonstrate His Love Sacrificially! (5:8)
